Scott A. Blair

I want to drop you a note that I attended Bill Graefe’s funeral yesterday. He was laid out in his scout uniform for his final roll call.  Ron Shepard, Joe Lee, Jr.&Sr., Joe Kelly and myself said some words. Bill Jr. had a great tribute going through the scout laws and providing anecdotes for each one. For “Loyal” he said Bill worked for a company for 21 years and never was absent. Wow, he really did live those scout laws.  Mrs. Graefe told me the he will be cremated and his ashes spread over TI & Hart. There were over 100 people in attendance, not bad for a guy who lived up here for a relatively short time. Bill Jr. said there will be a memorial service sometime in Burholme.
The service was nice but something was missing – the Troop 160 Band and Taps for Bill Graefe.
Thanks for continuing the legacy, I really appreciate your service to the troop.
We are the boys of 160!  -scott
